New Consultant joins practice

In a major new initiative, a second plastic surgery consultant, Mr Adam Goodwin has joined Mr Murphy in his full-time practice in Manchester.

Most recently, Mr Goodwin has worked as a Consultant in a number of NHS hospitals around Greater Manchester including the University Hospital of South Manchester and Manchester Royal Infirmary, delivering a comprehensive range of facial plastic, reconstructive and skin cancer surgery.

He also works closely with a local charity, travelling each year to Anandwan India where he performs facial reconstructive surgery in one of the most underprivileged areas of central India.

For 6 years, he ran his own independent facial aesthetic practice, alongside his NHS practice. Earlier this year, Mr Goodwin committed to a career in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and joined Mr Murphy in full-time practice.

As Mr Murphy explained “Mr Goodwin will be specializing in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, working alongside my existing team within the practice. This expansion of the practice’s capacity is welcome news for patients across the North West seeking cosmetic surgery to the highest professional standards”.

Mr Murphy is a fully accredited plastic surgeon and is entered into the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register for plastic surgery. He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
